Looking for training opportunities for your community bank’s operations staff? ICBB’s annual Bank Operations Opportunities Meeting (BOOM) is coming up on October 28! The free, all-day educational event will be held at the Frankfort Country Club in Frankfort, Kentucky, and boasts a lineup of insightful sessions and expert speakers.
“BOOM provides our community banks with education on current key topics, giving their operations staff additional knowledge and tools to not only expand their customer base but also increase their customer satisfaction by being informative,” said Chasity Bruce, customer service specialist at ICBB.
The day will begin at 10 am and end at 3 pm. Featured speakers include Dal Bolt, director at The Clearing House; Lance Wagner, sales manager at the Federal Reserve Bank; Dan Caputo and Kevin Sykes of Ascendant International Payments; and a roundtable discussion with the operations staff of ICBB.
This is the first year that registration for the event has been open to the public rather than invitation-only. The day is not only a value-add for attendees not only as community bank operations professionals, but also as ICBB customers.
“BOOM also brings our community banks together allowing ICBB to hear firsthand their ideas, comments, and suggestions on what they would like to see from ICBB,” said Bruce. “This gives us the opportunity to explore each suggestion to provide our community banks with products to better serve our customers. Our community banks’ success is ICBB’s priority.”
